Sewing. Snails and Ducks

In many of my previous posts my pictures where quite small.

I don't know why.

But Blogger seems to have fixed the problem and the pictures are bigger now.

Much better, I think.

Finished my order for my neighbor.

I made her 7 lunch bags she is using as gifts for teachers.

I also made her a pincushion as a thank you gift.

I love the puffy pincushions.

The girls found these snails.

We have them in a plastic bowl.

This one is trying to escape.

Can you see the holes in the cucumber they have snacking on?

The little black specks in the bowl are their poop.

Thought you might want to know that! 

These are our duck friends.

They come by nearly every day looking for food.

The count down contiues.

39 sleeps till we leave.

A bit of sewing

I am working on an order for my neighbor.

This is a childs size 8 apron.

Also some notebook covers

with monograms

and a pincushion.

Next I am working on some lunch bags.

43 more sleeps!

Happy Birthday Jocelyn

It's Jocelyn's birthday today.

Walked around the neighbourhood to

take pictures of birthday flowers.

This is our flower bush.

My neighbour across the street has a red one.

This belongs to another neighbour.

Our tree in the back yard.

Kevin attached a rope to it for the girls.

These little buttercups grow all over the lawn.

I hope everyone has a great day.

I have to go sew now.

Oh No!! Not again.

It's my birthday, again!!

Received a delivery from my daughter.

Aren't these beautiful flowers.

And a fruit basket.
With cheese, crackers, jam, cookies.

And of course, chocolate.

Kevin took me out for supper at White Spot

Then watched a movie "It's Complicated".

49 More sleeps!!

If I had a bike, I think this would be it.

I don't have anything new to post about in regards to sewing.

Kevin is gone having fun for the long weekend.

So I am here doing more of what I usually do.

Watching kids.

Because Kevin is off having fun,

I get a little extra work.

Sure will be glad when this long weekend is over.

Kevin took the camera so I don't have any new pictures, but because blogs can be really boring without a picture, I snagged this one off the Internet.

Saturday Project

A skirt for Jessica. Her choir at school is doing a little performance on Tuesday so I decided to make her a new skirt with ruffles and ric rac. I will get a better picture of it on Tuesday when she has the proper shirt on with it. I asked Kevin if he thought it was too long. He said "No, that is the proper length for a skirt". He can be such a Dad!!

It is one of my favorite feet for my machine.

You can make miles of ruffles in no time flat.
