The kids got blow up sleds for Christmas.
They went sledding in the afternoon.
Luckily the temperature wasn't too cold.

May everyone have a Blessed Christmas.
This is an embroidery from Embroidery Library.
And this is what I got myself for Christmas.
It is really awesome.

Quilt label and patches
Another quilt label.
I thought the sewing design was appropriate.
Patching a pair of jeans for Christian.
The knees are wore out on these jeans.
Thought the little puppies would be cut.

I have not blogged much recently.
Sorry about that, but the craft show thing
was kind of a bummer.
Kind of took the wind out of my sails for a while.
Time to move on.
I am considering opening an Etsy shop.
Does anyone have any thoughts on that?
In my quest to find something to sew that I could sell,
my friend suggested embroidered quilt label.
I could do custom orders.
I thought that was a good idea so I have been
working on designing some.
So far, this is what I have come up with.
What do you think?
Am I on the right track?
I have a few more to embroider and will post pictures of them when
I have them done.
Again, the photography needs some improvement.
When I see them as photos I can see better where they need some tweaking.
Is that how you spell it?
I will continue to work on this idea.
Does anyone have any more ideas?

My Sewing Room
This is about as cleaned up as it ever gets
so I thought I could give you a peek at it.
It is not very big.
I wish I had about double this size.
Me sewing helper.
My Ikea sewing table.
The cutting table.
I love this table.
I love this machine.
I would like to redo this room.
It needs better lighting.
It needs a paint job.
The window needs something.
I would like a better desk, maybe L shaped.
Then I wouldn't have to jump up after every time I sew a seam to
finish it on the serger.
But for now, this is working.

Using fabric in my stash.
I wanted to make another skirt with tulle.
I found this in my stash.
Thought this red plaid would look Christmasy.
Added some lace around the ruffle.
I will be taking the skirts to the craft market on Saturday.
See what kind of response I get.
More pjs for the craft market on Saturday.
Cats in squares.
Lady bugs on purble dots.

A new creation
Did you think I could only make pjs?
I did something different today.
Had an idea for a skirt.
I added some tulle to the ruffle so it would stand out and twirl better.
I still need to tweek it a bit, but you get the idea.
What do you think?
I serged a rolled edge on the bottom of the ruffle.
I think it added a nice accent to it.
Also, more flannel.
I have a craft show again on Saturday
and got worried, what if I sell out.
I still need to make pjs for all the grands.
Lady bugs on purple dot.
Cats in boxes.

It was a frosty morning this morning.
All foggy and frosty.
It's been that way most of the day.
No sun today.

More journal cover pictures
Just some more pictures of linen journal covers
that I made today.
Today is my last sewing day
before the Ladies Night Out.
Tomorrow after lunch I can go and do setup.
Then come home and do my nails!
Should be a good time.
I am trying to get some last minute journal covers done.
Then I need to get everything packed up and ready to go.
Linen embroidered cover for me.
A basket full of pincushions.
I did these yesterday.

Stll sewing pjs
But I think I am done for now.
Just thought I would post a few pictures of what I have been doing.
The t-shirts are a little oversized for comfort.
